Marissa Hayes Aydlett leads global sales marketing for Quartz – a mobile-first, digital news brand. From award-winning client work and creative services to strategic partnerships and research, Marissa has contributed to Quartz's exponential growth as executive director of marketing.

Most recently, Marissa worked at Buddy Media on the core transition team during their acquisition by Salesforce, focusing on sales enablement, competitive strategy, and product marketing.Previously, Marissa held marketing and business development roles at Conde Nast Digital and Fairchild Fashion Media. While there, she was instrumental in scaling digital business and transitioning the company from centralized to distributed digital marketing teams. Marissa has held digital roles at Martha Stewart Omnimedia, The Knot (XO Group), and The Daily Tube. Marissa graduated from Michigan State University in Professional Writing and holds a graduate certificate in publishing from New York University.
